The end of the FP6 and the beginning of the FP7
The present Research Framework Prgramme (FP6) is almost at its end and the new FP7 is now voted and ready to start with the first Calls for proposals, early 2007. it is a very ambitious Programme with more than €75 billion over a period of 7 years which will encompass more research areas and which will generate more activities and more international co-operation.
The new research Framework Programme is organized into four programmes to address specific objectives:
